About Sharon AI

Sharon AI is an Australian neocloud, delivering trusted AI infrastructure organisations need to build, train and run AI at scale. We support customers across the full AI lifecycle, from training through to inference and agentic AI, drawing on a strong ecosystem of technology and co-location partners to deliver capability where it's needed. As the first neocloud to join NVIDIA's AI Compute Program, we're growing quickly, scaling our AI Factory platform to meet rising demand for advanced compute.

The Role

As Sharon AI continues to grow, we're looking for a Portfolio Planning & Performance Manager to establish and lead portfolio-wide commercial, resource planning and performance management across our customer deployment portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

· Build and maintain portfolio capacity plans, forecasting resource demand, supply and utilisation across customer cluster deployments.

· Identify resource constraints early, recommend mitigation strategies and support workforce and growth planning.

· Develop deployment cost models, project cost baselines and labour costing models; track actuals against forecasts.

· Build revenue, margin and profitability models and monitor commercial performance and revenue milestones.

· Measure deployment profitability, return on investment and benefits realisation across the portfolio.

· Develop portfolio KPIs, executive dashboards, performance scorecards and reporting across capacity, cost, revenue and value.

· Partner with Finance, Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and leadership on investment, prioritisation and commercial decisions.

· Identify opportunities to improve portfolio financial outcomes, reporting processes and delivery excellence.

· Establish a consistent, reliable source of truth for portfolio planning, forecasting and performance.

What we,re looking for:

· 7+ years’ experience in portfolio management, commercial or financial management, PMO, project controls, workforce planning or related areas.

· A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, economics, business, engineering, project management or a related discipline.

· Proven experience in resource planning, portfolio forecasting, financial reporting and performance management.

· Strong financial modelling skills, including project and labour costing, business cases, capacity plans and margin analysis.

· Ability to interpret complex portfolio data and deliver practical recommendations to senior stakeholders.

· Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Delivery, Operations and executive leadership.

· Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

· A proactive approach to building scalable processes in a growing business, with an interest in AI infrastructure.

Nice to have:

· Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud, hyperscale, telecommunications, data centres or major capital programs.

· Experience building portfolio planning or performance management capabilities in high-growth organisations.
