Your Success is Our Shared Success Having a deep understanding of the Portuguese real estate landscape and a strong network within the industry—specifically direct C-suite connections with major national developers, asset managers, and construction groups—is essential. Your ability to navigate the unique dynamics of the Southern European market and exceed ambitious sales goals will be instrumental in propelling WIZIO to the forefront of the region.
Build Equity in Your Future For the initial 3 months, your compensation will be entirely commission-based (15% of net project value), reflecting your immediate achievements. This initial trial period allows you to demonstrate your capabilities, secure initial local pilot references, and unlock the true power of this partnership. Following a successful trial period, you’ll be eligible to enter a performance-backed equity vesting framework in WIZIO Portugal. This innovative approach allows you to become a true founding partner, directly tying your long-term rewards to our regional growth and entity corporate valuation.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Leverage your deep understanding of the Portuguese real estate market to secure partnerships with leading developers.
- Become a regional PropTech champion, pitching our browser-based, hardware-independent solutions that require no plugins or heavy hardware.
- Build and lead a dynamic team of local real estate professionals as the local entity expands.
- Develop and implement winning go-to-market strategies tailored to international golden visa investment hubs, luxury tourism resorts, and urban centers.
- Conduct targeted outreach to map and identify new business opportunities specific to Portugal.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with C-suite stakeholders, founders, and directors in the local property ecosystem.
You’re the ideal candidate if you have:
- A strong understanding of the Portuguese real estate market and a proven track record of sales or business development success (essential).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to open doors and secure pitches with high-level corporate stakeholders.
- Experience in contract negotiation (essential).
- 5+ years of experience in the Portuguese real estate or proptech industry (essential).
- Existing, active C-Suite connections in the property developer and construction network (must).
Bonus points for:
- Experience in a startup environment or scaling new venture footprints.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (highly preferred).
- Understanding of the international buyer profiles and local regulations surrounding property developments.
