Portuguese Translator with legal background

Job Description We are seeking a Portuguese‑speaking Contract Lawyer with around three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience in Investigations, Compliance, Financial Services, and/or Insurance . This role involves reviewing legal documentation, supporting regulatory processes, and assisting with risk‑related matters. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze contracts and legal documents in Portuguese and English. Support investigations by reviewing evidence, identifying risk issues, and summarizing findings. Assist Compliance teams with regulatory research, policy reviews, and risk assessments. Provide legal support on matters related to Financial Services and Insurance , ensuring alignment with applicable regulations. Work cross‑functionally with legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to support ongoing matters. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and data‑protection standards. Requirements Required Qualifications Law degree (LLB/JD) with Portuguese language skills (Brazilian). Approximately 3 years of legal experience. Demonstrated experience in Investigations / Compliance / Financial Services / Insurance . Strong written and verbal proficiency in Portuguese and English . Ability to provide clear legal analysis and identify risk areas.
