PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) | Porto – Hybrid

We're looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join a challenging project within a leading international institution.

You'll be part of a team responsible for ensuring database performance, availability, security and reliability across a complex IT environment.

Your Role

• Administer, monitor and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Manage and support additional database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Redshift).
• Support databases running in OpenShift environments.
• Troubleshoot database incidents and contribute to performance improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional Saturday interventions.
• Collaborate with international technical teams.

What We're Looking For

• Solid hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
• Experience with at least 2–3 additional database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MySQL Cluster, MS SQL Server or Redshift).
• Familiarity with OpenShift from a database perspective.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and good command of English.
• Availability for a hybrid working model in Porto (2–3 days/week on-site).
