Finance, Funding and Compliance Administrator at Seed Waikato

10 hours per week @ $40 per hour

(5 hours in our office and 5 hours working from home)

We’re looking for a Pou Puutea (Finance, Funding & Compliance) to keep our finances humming, funding applications churning and compliance reporting on track. Bring your eye for detail to mahi that backs young people leading change. This role needs 10 hours a week: 5 hours working in the office, alongside our Seed kaimahi, the other 5 hours are WFH.

Your mahi:

• Keep Xero up to date, coordinate payments and process payroll and GST
• Work alongside our 2 Pou Aarahi on budgets and provide clear, useful financial reporting.
• Keep funding applications, calendars and accountability reports progressing
• Coordinate annual reporting, auditor review and charity compliance.

Your skills:

• Practical finance or bookkeeping experience
• Confidence with Xero, spreadsheets and creating reports
• Love administration and have a sharp eye for detail
• Set up structures and systems to support deadlines and workflows
• Handle sensitive information with care
• Creativity to make numbers approachable
• Funding, community or charity sector experience
• A learner’s mindset and open to changing things up where needed

Qualifications:

• Book keeping / Accounting Diploma
