Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
Power Automate Consultant
to join a dynamic project team delivering
business process automation solutions
using
Microsoft Power Automate
(Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows). This role is focused on
RPA-style automation
, not app development.
The ideal candidate will have a background in
process design and automation
, with the ability to build scalable, maintainable flows and automate routine business operations.
Coding or scripting experience
is required to extend automation functionality and support more complex use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows using
Power Automate Cloud Flows and Desktop Flows
Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Integrate flows with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and third-party platforms
Use scripting or code to extend flow logic (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, Python)
Support production rollouts, troubleshooting, and enhancements
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
Key Requirements:
Proven experience with
Microsoft Power Automate
(Cloud and Desktop Flows)
Background in
business process automation / RPA
Scripting/coding knowledge in
PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, or .NET
Strong understanding of workflow design and optimisation
Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must be based
onshore in Australia
(citizens, PRs, or those with unrestricted work rights)
Nice to Have:
Experience with Power Apps or the broader Power Platform
Prior consulting or enterprise client delivery experience
Exposure to automation in sectors like government, healthcare, or financial services
