What You'll Own

Platform Leadership

• Take the lead on administering Power BI Service environment — tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, and gateways
• Keep a pulse on platform health and usage, and manage licensing across Power BI Premium, Microsoft Fabric, and Pro

Security & Governance

• Design and maintain governance frameworks that keep data safe without slowing teams down
• Own Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and workspace permissions
• Run access reviews and entitlement audits that actually matter

Connectivity & Performance

• Be the expert who solves tricky data refresh and gateway issues
• Optimise capacity and performance so reports run fast and reliably
• Collaborate with database, infrastructure, and network teams to keep everything connected

Enablement & Support

• Provide top-tier L2/L3 support that makes users feel confident, not frustrated
• Train and empower report developers and business users
• Build documentation and knowledge resources that make everyone's life easier

Change & Compliance

• Manage deployment pipelines and environment promotions
• Keep backup, recovery, and business continuity rock-solid
• Support audits with confidence, not scrambling

What You Bring

• 6–8 years working with Microsoft Power BI, with real depth in administration (not just report-building)
• Hands-on mastery of Power BI Service, tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, and gateways
• Strong grounding in Power BI Premium, Microsoft Fabric, and Pro licensing
• A security-first mindset — comfortable implementing RLS, OLS, and access governance
• Battle-tested experience with On-Premises Data Gateway troubleshooting
• A knack for diagnosing performance and connectivity issues before they become problems
• Experience supporting users at L2/L3 level with patience and clarity
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and release management
• Excellent communication skills — you can talk to engineers and business stakeholders with equal ease
