Power BI Analyst/ Developer

The Business Intelligence Developer / Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. The role bridges the gap between business and data by translating business requirements into trusted insights, data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions that enable informed decision-making.

The incumbent is accountable for the full reporting lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data analysis, dimensional modelling, report development, data validation, testing, deployment, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing support. The role also acts as a first-line analytical resource, investigating data-related business questions, resolving reporting issues, and ensuring business users can confidently interpret and consume

data.

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field

• 5–7+ years’ experience in BI / analytics development

• Advanced MS Power BI expertise

• DAX optimisation

• Advanced SQL skills

• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and KPI definition.

• Exposure to data profiling, data quality assessment, and root-cause analysis.

MAX Annual Salary R850 000.00 including large corporate benefits.

currently is hybrid going in on Mon, Tues, and Friday during the first 2 weeks of the month and is open to change.
