Our client, a global consulting firm, is leading a high-impact digital transformation programme for a major public sector organisation in Ireland. In this role, you will take technical ownership of migrating mission-critical legacy applications to a modern Microsoft Power Platform architecture, combining enterprise low-code capabilities with advanced pro-code engineering.

Acting as the technical lead within a dedicated delivery pod alongside a Technical Architect, you will shape architectural solutions, mentor fellow engineers, and guide enterprise stakeholders through complex technical transformations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking end-to-end technical ownership of the design, development, and deployment of enterprise Power Platform solutions (Power Pages, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
• Leading and mentoring developers within your delivery pod while collaborating closely with the Technical Architect, business analysts, and multi-vendor delivery teams.
• Designing and developing advanced pro-code extensions, server-side Dataverse/Dynamics C# plugins, custom APIs, and Azure integration pipelines (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage).
• Serving as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex business processes into scalable technical architectures and leading integration decisions across systems.
• Evaluating and defining architectural boundaries between out-of-the-box low-code features and custom pro-code/Azure components to ensure high performance and maintainability.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of commercial software engineering experience, combining deep pro-code capabilities with extensive enterprise Microsoft ecosystem expertise.
• Proven leadership experience guiding development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers in agile environments.
• Consultant mindset: exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex multi-vendor enterprise environments and explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Professional English proficiency for seamless daily communication across international teams.

Must-Haves:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Pages (Liquid, custom components, web templates, Dataverse integration, security, and authentication).
• Strong track record in Model-driven Power Apps and complex Power Automate cloud flow orchestration.
• In-depth C# / .NET pro-code engineering background, specifically developing custom Dataverse plugins, extensions, and backend business logic.
• Solid frontend web skills: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for deep UI/portal customization.
• Comprehensive understanding of Dataverse architecture, relational data modeling, security roles, and API integrations.
• Practical Azure integration experience (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Blob Storage, REST APIs, JSON).
