EnergyCo NSW is helping shape the state’s energy future by coordinating the planning and delivery of infrastructure to support the transition to a reliable, affordable and renewable electricity system.

About the Opportunity
Join EnergyCo and play a key role in supporting the delivery of NSW’s renewable energy future. As a Power System Analysis Engineer, you will undertake power system modelling and analysis that supports the successful integration of Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) infrastructure, helping to deliver a secure, reliable and sustainable electricity network. Working alongside experienced engineers, industry stakeholders and government partners, you will contribute to major infrastructure projects, provide technical insights, and help develop innovative solutions that support the state's energy transformation.

About You
You are an engineer with experience in power system planning, modelling or analysis and a genuine interest in renewable energy integration. Ideally, you will be able to hit the ground running, bringing practical experience with power system studies and a solid understanding of the electricity network. However, we are equally interested in candidates who have strong foundational technical skills and are ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and high-performing team.

You are proactive, curious and motivated to learn, with a willingness to tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to meaningful infrastructure outcomes. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills will help you build effective working relationships across industry, government and project teams, while your collaborative approach and focus on delivering quality outcomes will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
