A multinational engineering design firm in Australia is seeking currently for a Power System Engineer to work remotely in the Philippines
About the Position:
The Power Systems Engineer will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim. Experience with generator performance standards, report preparation, and compliance with national electricity rules is essential.
Qualifications:
- work setup; permanent and remote work
- Mon-Friday 6AM-3PM (AU time)
About the Position:
The Power Systems Engineer will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim. Experience with generator performance standards, report preparation, and compliance with national electricity rules is essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- 3 years' experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects
- Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
- Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivery and achieving strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels
- Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude
- Experience using PSCAD/ PSS/E Software
