🎯 What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Pre-Award Senior Project Manager – European Funds specialised in Energy, Cleantech, Decarbonisation, and Digitalisation to lead the preparation and submission of high-impact European funding proposals focused on the energy transition, industrial decarbonisation, clean technologies, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and digital transformation.

💡 What will your mission be?

✏️ Identify and assess European funding opportunities relevant to renewable energy, energy storage, hydrogen, biofuels, smart grids, industrial decarbonisation, circular economy, clean technologies, and digitalisation.

✏️ Analyse EU calls, work programmes, eligibility criteria, evaluation procedures, and strategic priorities.

✏️ Coordinate the full proposal development process for programmes such as Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, LIFE, CEF, Digital Europe, and other European funding instruments.

✏️ Support clients in defining project strategy, innovation positioning, technological development roadmaps, impact pathways, business models, and exploitation plans.

✏️ Draft, review, and improve technical and strategic proposal sections, ensuring alignment with EU funding requirements and evaluation criteria.

✏️ Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including research organisations, universities, energy companies, industrial stakeholders, technology providers, engineering firms, and digital innovation partners.

✏️ Support consortium building and partner engagement across European energy, industrial, and digital innovation ecosystems.

✏️ Ensure high-quality submissions aligned with EU standards and deadlines.

✏️ Monitor trends, technological developments, and European policies related to the energy transition, climate neutrality, industrial competitiveness, and digital transformation.

🎓 What kind of candidate are we looking for?

📌 Master's degree or PhD in Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT, or related technical fields.

📌 Proven experience in European funding proposal preparation, R&D&I project development, or innovation consultancy.

📌 Strong knowledge of EU funding programmes related to energy, cleantech, industrial decarbonisation, and digitalisation.

📌 Understanding of R&D and innovation ecosystems in renewable energy, clean technologies, sustainable industry, energy efficiency, or digital transformation.

📌 Ability to understand and assess complex technological concepts, innovation potential, and industrial applications.

📌 Excellent project management and coordination skills.

📌 Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication abilities.

📌 Fluent English (written and spoken).

📌 Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in an international environment.

Nice to Have

📌 Knowledge of emerging energy technologies, including green hydrogen, energy storage, smart grids, CCUS, advanced renewable energy systems, and industrial electrification.

📌 Familiarity with digital technologies such as AI, IoT, digital twins, automation, and data-driven solutions applied to energy and industrial processes.

📌 Understanding of EU climate and energy policies, including the European Green Deal, Fit for 55, and EU industrial decarbonisation strategies.

📌 Experience working with energy companies, industrial corporations, technology centres, research institutions, or cleantech startups.

📌 Familiarity with EU submission platforms, proposal evaluation processes, and techno-economic assessments.
