How will you make your impact?

As a Pre-Construction Director at Linxon, you will lead all activities required to transition projects from opportunity development through execution readiness. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Project Management teams, you will ensure projects are fully planned, constructible, risk-assessed, resourced, and mobilization-ready before entering execution.

You will serve as the operational architect of project delivery, establishing construction strategies, execution methodologies, contractor engagement plans, quality frameworks, safety readiness programs, logistics strategies, and site preparation requirements that drive successful project outcomes. Through leadership, planning excellence, and collaboration, you will help reduce execution risk, improve project profitability, and ensure predictable project performance.

What will you do?

  • You will lead the pre-construction phase of complex EPC projects, ensuring projects are fully planned, constructible, risk-assessed, and execution-ready.
  • You will support Business Development, Sales, and Tendering teams by providing execution strategies, constructability reviews, schedule validation, and project delivery guidance.
  • You will develop project execution roadmaps, construction methodologies, mobilization plans, staffing strategies, and work packaging approaches.
  • You will coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and readiness before project execution.
  • You will identify, assess, and mitigate technical, commercial, operational, and site-related risks while maintaining project risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • You will lead contractor engagement, qualification, and execution readiness activities, ensuring resources are aligned with project objectives.
  • You will establish project quality and safety readiness frameworks, including inspection plans, documentation requirements, risk assessments, and compliance programs.
  • You will chair project readiness reviews and lead formal handovers from Tendering and Pre-Construction to Project Execution teams.
  • You will provide executive-level recommendations on project readiness, execution strategy, and risk management.
  • You will lead and develop Pre-Construction teams while driving standardization, continuous improvement, and planning excellence across the organization.
  • This condensed version keeps the job description focused on the major responsibilities while avoiding an overwhelming list of individual tasks.

Who you are?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • You have a master's degree preferred.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in EPC project delivery, construction management, engineering, project management, or related infrastructure industries.
  • You have experience delivering large-scale energy, transmission, substation, industrial, infrastructure, or complex EPC projects.
  • You have demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.
  • You have a strong understanding of EPC project execution, project controls, scheduling, risk management, and project delivery methodologies.

  • You are an effective leader with a proven ability to develop teams, mentor professionals, and drive organizational performance.
  • You are a strategic thinker who can balance operational efficiency, customer expectations, and commercial objectives.
  • You have strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • You are knowledgeable in quality systems, safety management programs, and industry best practices.
  • You have strong commercial awareness and understand the importance of margin protection through front-end planning excellence.
  • You are highly collaborative and capable of building alignment across multiple business functions.
