Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney

A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in the North Atlanta suburbs is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join their collaborative team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys negotiating settlements, advocating for injured clients, and resolving cases before litigation whenever possible. What You'll Do as the Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney: Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers to maximize client recoveries Review medical records, evaluate damages, and prepare comprehensive demand packages Coordinate with medical providers regarding treatment, billing, liens, and records Analyze liability, coverage, and case value to develop effective settlement strategies Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the life of each case Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently Resolve Medicare, Medicaid, subrogation, and other lien issues Prepare files for litigation when settlement is not achievable Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional communication and service Must-Haves as the Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney: Active membership in the Georgia Bar 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience with significant pre-litigation responsibilities Strong negotiation skills and experience resolving insurance claims Experience reviewing medical records and evaluating damages Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, mature, and client-focused approach to practicing law Strong work ethic with a genuine desire to advocate for injured clients Nice-to-Haves as the Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney: Experience with high-volume personal injury practices Spanish or another second language Experience negotiating medical liens and provider reductions Familiarity with Georgia personal injury law and local insurance carriers Prior mediation or alternative dispute resolution experience This Role Offers: Base salary starting around $100,000, plus performance-based bonuses tied to case results Outstanding earning potential with uncapped bonus opportunities Excellent health insurance, 401(k), and comprehensive benefits package Hybrid flexibility with one remote workday each week Negotiable PTO and strong work-life balance Collaborative, family-oriented culture that values professionalism, diversity, and teamwork Direct mentorship from experienced plaintiff attorneys Opportunity to join a growing boutique firm where your contributions are recognized and rewarded Convenient North Atlanta suburban location with an easy commute and excellent surrounding amenities Trueline is an unabashed equal-opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.
