Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Pre-Litigation Case Manager / Legal Assistant to support our growing personal injury practice. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to building a long-term career within a supportive and high-performing team. Schedule:
Monday to Friday from Monday to Friday 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM EST
Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Requesting and following up on police reports, medical records, and related documentation.
- Communicating with insurance companies regarding claims and coverage.
- Preparing and sending Letters of Representation.
- Managing a caseload of personal injury matters throughout the pre-litigation phase.
- Preparing and organizing documentation for negotiations and potential settlements.
- Providing regular case updates regarding insurance coverage, treatment status, and case developments.
- Maintaining regular communication and follow-up with clients to ensure an excellent client experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Case Manager, Legal Assistant, or similar role within a personal injury law firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to deadlines and expectations
- Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
