About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join a growing U.S. personal injury law firm.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing pre-litigation personal injury cases from client intake through demand preparation. You will be responsible for guiding clients throughout their treatment, coordinating with medical providers and insurance companies, gathering supporting documentation, and ensuring each case is thoroughly prepared for settlement negotiations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, compassionate, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple active cases while maintaining exceptional client communication and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Litigation Case Management

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through the pre-litigation process
• Open new insurance claims and communicate with insurance adjusters
• Develop and maintain case plans to ensure timely case progression
• Monitor case deadlines and treatment milestones
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files
  

Client & Medical Coordination

• Conduct client intake and gather all necessary case information
• Ensure clients remain compliant with their medical treatment plans
• Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment with medical providers
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and treatment progress
• Address client questions and provide ongoing support throughout the pre-litigation process
  

Medical Records & Case Development

• Request, collect, review, and organize medical records and billing statements
• Monitor treatment progress and identify outstanding documentation
• Obtain police reports, insurance information, wage loss documentation, and other supporting evidence
• Prepare complete case files for attorney review
• Assist in compiling settlement demand packages and supporting documentation

Insurance & Administrative Support

• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, documentation, and case updates
• Update Filevine with case notes, communications, and documents
• Utilize RingCentral for client and insurance communications
• Perform additional case management and administrative tasks as assigned
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Case Manager for a U.S. law firm
• Strong understanding of the personal injury pre-litigation process
• Experience working directly with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities
• Ability to independently manage multiple active pre-litigation cases
