Pre-sales Engineer

Softwerx is seeking a Pre-sales Engineer with strong customer communication skills. Hands-on experience is required across multiple Microsoft security and compliance technologies.

This critical role will focus on supporting the sales team technically with new and existing customer requirements. The role will include demoing solutions, designing and estimating solutions around Azure, Infrastructure, Office365 and networking. 

Experience across all Microsoft Office365 and Azure services is essential.

Overview

Job Title: Pre-sales Engineer.

Contract type: Permanent.

Location: Hybrid with home working, office attendance and regular travel across the UK. Hours of work: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities

· Supporting the sales team in technical requirements

· Presenting technical demos (Remote and In Person)

· Completing ISMS reviews

· Designing technical architecture solutions

· Accurate estimation and technically sound solutions

· Microsoft licensing and product features

· Delivering Threat and Data envisioning workshops

· Present Webinars

· Presenting in person workshop

Essential Experience and Qualifications

· Microsoft 365 knowledge

· Microsoft security (Defender solutions)

· Azure infrastructure

· Networking

· Microsoft Entra

· Defender for Cloud experience

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

· Cyber Security knowledge

· Industry certification beyond Microsoft

· AZ-104, SC-500, SC300, SC-401, AZ-305, AZ-700 exams passed
