🎤 About the Role

The Commissioner is a non-ordained preaching minister role at Christcord Church, designated for individuals who are gifted in preaching, teaching, and communicating the Word of God, but who may not currently be ordained or serving in a formal pastoral capacity.

Commissioners help carry the teaching load of the church by delivering sermons, devotionals, and Bible teachings on a rotating basis under the spiritual oversight of the Senior and Executive Pastors. This is a ministry leadership position, not an administrative or sacramental one.

This role is ideal for seminary students, lay preachers, ministry apprentices, or individuals in the process of ordination.

🧭 Responsibilities

• Preach or teach publicly in the Christcord community (via Discord, livestream, or prerecorded)

• Prepare Christ-centered, biblically faithful, and accessible messages on a regular schedule

• Collaborate with church leadership to align messages with seasonal series or church themes

• Participate in community discussions, Bible Q&A, or follow-up conversations after messages

• Maintain humility, doctrinal integrity, and teachability in ministry practice

• Serve as a model of faithfulness and encouragement to newer believers

🕒 Time Commitment

Estimated 5–10 hours per week, including study, preparation, and engagement with the community.

✅ Qualifications

• Deep love for Christ and the Word of God

• Demonstrated gifting in preaching, teaching, or public communication

• Experience speaking in church or ministry settings (online or offline)

• Agreement with Christcord’s Christ-centered and inclusive theological approach

• Willingness to submit to pastoral oversight and grow in spiritual maturity

• Comfortable using Discord, livestream tools, or able to learn with support

Note: This is not an ordained role and does not perform sacraments. It is a licensed preaching and teaching ministry appointment under the authority of Christcord leadership.
