ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is one of Australia's largest large-format digital printing companies, providing wholesale print production to creative agencies,
trade printers and marketing firms from facilities in Queensland and Victoria. This role joins the Prepress team and prepares client files for print

production to a high quality standard, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Artwork and file preparation
• Prepare client-supplied artwork for print using Adobe Creative Cloud
(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and PitStop
• Produce print-ready artwork, complex layouts and basic designs
• Pre-flight, proof and soft proof files before production
• Troubleshoot client-supplied files and technical prepress issues
• Follow client branding guidelines and briefs
Print production support
• Work within MMT's standard operating procedures for prepress and
wide-format printing
• Prepare files for RIP software for wide-format print production
• Manage colour profiling for printers and proofers
• Manage and organise client file assets
Workflow and communication
• Prioritise a large workload to meet production timelines
• Liaise with internal teams and clients to keep work flowing smoothly
• Meet quality control standards and represent MMT professionally
Requirements
The role's minimum skills include:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with RIP software for wide-format printing
• Strong understanding of colour management, image resolution and file
preparation for print
• Apple iMac experience at intermediate level or higher
• Strong attention to detail, able to prioritise large workloads and meet
tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and
internal teams
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and
accountability
Preferred:
• Enfocus PitStop
• Wide-format or signage print experience
• Experience supporting Australian clients
