ArgonOS is ChapsVision’s enterprise AI and data platform designed to unify fragmented information, accelerate decision-making, and power intelligent workflows through advanced analytics, knowledge management, AI, and agentic capabilities.
About the Role
We are seeking a Presales Team Lead to lead the North America presales team supporting Sinequa and ArgonOS.
This is a player/coach role. You will manage and develop the presales team while remaining hands-on in strategic customer opportunities. The balance between leadership and hands-on work shifts with the pipeline.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Delivery, and prospective customers to understand complex business challenges and demonstrate how ChapsVision can transform fragmented data into actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coaching an engineer, discussing architecture with technical teams, and presenting business value to executives.
As ChapsVision continues expanding in North America, this role offers the opportunity to shape how the presales function operates and scales, and to help define customer engagement approaches and technical positioning in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership & Management
Manage, coach, and develop presales engineers and interns
Prioritize presales engagement with Sales and assign opportunities across the team based on workload, expertise, and strategic importance
Review demonstrations, POC plans, and technical proposals to maintain quality and consistency
Onboard and ramp new team members, and contribute to hiring
Customer Discovery & Technical Consultation
Partner with Account Executives to understand customer business challenges, technical environments, and strategic priorities
Lead technical discovery sessions on strategic opportunities with stakeholders ranging from engineers to executive leadership
Translate complex customer requirements into tailored AI and data platform solutions
Solution Demonstrations & Proof-of-Concepts
Design and deliver compelling demonstrations showcasing Sinequa and ArgonOS capabilities and business value
Define proof-of-concept (POC) scope and success criteria aligned with customer use cases
Clearly communicate complex AI, data, and platform concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Technical Architecture & Solution Design
Advise customers on deployment strategies, integrations, and architecture considerations
Support discussions involving APIs, cloud environments, enterprise systems, and data ecosystems
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence future platform direction
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to refine technical messaging and improve customer outcomes
Develop presales processes, demo assets, and enablement materials that help the team scale
Support strategic opportunities and help establish Sinequa and ArgonOS within the North American market
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in PreSales Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles
Experience leading, mentoring, or managing presales or technical team members, formally or informally
Experience supporting enterprise AI software, RAG platforms, enterprise search, analytics solutions, or data products
Strong understanding of APIs, cloud environments, enterprise architectures, and integrations
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
Experience designing demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, or technical presentations for customers
Experience operating in high-growth or rapidly evolving technology environments
Experience supporting customers in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace and defense, life sciences, or other regulated sectors
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative and coaching mindset
What Success Looks Like
Build a high-performing presales team that consistently delivers compelling demonstrations and successful proof-of-concepts
Build trusted relationships with customers and become a strategic technical advisor on key opportunities
Contribute to revenue growth in North America
Help establish Sinequa and ArgonOS as leading enterprise AI and data platforms in the region
