About the role:

The Pricing Analyst is part of the Card Scheme Compliance team. This roles plays a crucial role in analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing card scheme and processing costs. It requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and understanding of card schemes and payment processing economics. The Pricing Analyst will own our true cost base, ensuring every interchange, scheme, and processing cost across card schemes is accurately understood and documented internally.

Seniority: Mid-level Specialist 1-3 years relevant experience

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain a complete, current record of all interchange, scheme, and processing costs across card schemes

• Review scheme announcements and updates. Identify cost changes and update pricing inputs

• Validate cost data accuracy and reconcile scheme invoices against expected charges to ensure pricing model integrity

• Optimize, build, and refine technical pricing models, devising methods to detect anomalies and monitor cost variance

• Model the P&L impact of scheme cost changes across the tariff portfolio (quarterly scheme updates, renegotiations)

• Improve and develop processing improvements and tooling for implementation and reconciliation processes

• Collaborate with Finance and Pricing teams to integrate cost considerations into pricing strategy and business decisions

This role is perfect for you if you have:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in payments, pricing, finance, or business analysis

• Strong knowledge of payment economics - interchange, scheme fees, processing costs (Visa and Mastercard)

• Strong ability to interpret scheme documentation, fee guides, and regulatory updates to identify cost drivers and structure pricing inputs

• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel for data analysis; comfortable with detailed reconciliation work

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritize

• Experience with AI/machine learning tools for data analysis or process optimization

• Strong written and spoken English
