Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the relevant product groups, maximizing profitability and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction with ABB. Each day, you will leverage a robust pricing infrastructure and established pricing policies to deliver measurable business results. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of effective standard and special pricing strategies aligned with the global division strategy, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and profitability targets.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in Italy.

Main stakeholders are Sales, Product Marketing, Business Controllers, Product Management, and Local Division Management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing support for developing pricing concepts to establish and manage national and cross-channel pricing strategies, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.
• Sharing pricing knowledge and supporting its application throughout your area of accountability.
• Driving increased profitability through established professional pricing methodologies, tools, and infrastructure.
• Analyzing special pricing requests and providing high-level consultancy to internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and implementation of new pricing tools, processes, and reporting capabilities.
• Building ad hoc analyses and business insights to support management decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Monitoring pricing performance and recommending actions to improve business results and margin optimization.

Qualifications for the role

• You enjoy working with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, and you have an interest in the B2B industrial sector.
• Ability to demonstrate experience in financial analysis, pricing analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex analysis and reporting.

• You are highly skilled in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, data analytics solutions, and automation technologies to improve business insights, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

• Possess enhanced knowledge of data visualization, reporting tools, and pricing methodologies.
• You are passionate about problem-solving, continuous improvement, and translating data into actionable business insights.
• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a commercial or analytical environment is considered a strong advantage.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: €39.000

Variable Pay:Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
