Summary
Salary: £28,500 – £31,000 per annum for FTE
Hours: 7.5 – 15 hours per week, flexible
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months
Location: Hybrid – Remote working with work within Practices across Cornwall
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Primary Care Business Intelligence Analyst to support the development of business intelligence and data-driven decision making across General Practice in Cornwall.
Working as part of a system-wide virtual Business Intelligence team, the postholder will work closely with practices within their Primary Care Network (PCN), neighbouring PCNs and wider system partners to enhance the use of data, information and digital systems. The role will support practices to maximise the value of their clinical systems, develop meaningful performance intelligence, improve data quality and identify opportunities to improve patient care, access and operational effectiveness.
About The Role
The postholder will play a key role in developing consistent approaches to reporting, demand and capacity analysis, performance monitoring, data quality and system configuration across Primary Care. Working alongside Practice Managers, Clinical Directors, operational colleagues and system partners, they will help establish and share best practice, support the effective use of EMIS and SystmOne, and contribute to a broader understanding of General Practice activity and performance across the health and care system.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills who enjoys working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to support service improvement and transformation through the effective use of data and business intelligence.
