About the Role

We are hiring for our project and looking for a hands-on Principal Software Engineer – Applied AI to lead the development of scalable, AI-powered products.

The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering expertise with practical AI product development experience, driving technical architecture while actively building and deploying customer-facing AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver customer-facing AI-powered applications.
• Lead technical architecture and engineering standards.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
• Integrate LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent workflows into existing products.
• Drive AI quality, security, monitoring, and performance.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Staff/Principal-level software engineering experience.
• 18+ months of recent experience building and supporting customer-facing AI products in production.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, React, and Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and AI-powered applications.
• Knowledge of MCP, vector databases, and AI orchestration.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience taking products from design and development through production deployment.

Nice to Have: Experience in SaaS, FinTech, Payroll, or HR technology.
