About the Role
Lead analog and mixed-signal design for next-generation computing chips at an early-stage AI and computing company. You will collaborate across integrated circuits, systems, physics, and algorithms to turn probabilistic computing concepts into silicon.
What You'll Do
Design analog and mixed-signal blocks, including ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, high-speed SerDes, oscillators, and dividers, for upcoming tape-outs.
Own major areas of chip architecture and potentially lead the design of a planned chip.
Perform hands-on layout and design verification, including DRC, ERC, and LVS.
Work with cross-functional teams to translate computing concepts into silicon implementations.
Help test and validate fabricated chips using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
What We're Looking For
Six or more years of analog and mixed-signal IC design experience, including work on blocks such as PLLs, ADCs, or SerDes.
CMOS circuit design expertise and experience with multiple circuit types and non-trivial designs.
Multiple completed tape-outs, including experience with FinFET or 28nm/65nm process nodes.
An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on circuits or IC design.
Proficiency with Cadence simulation, including PEX, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
Hands-on layout experience and willingness to contribute beyond a narrow specialty in a startup environment.
Experience with CMOS, Cadence, FinFET, PLLs, ADCs, or SerDes; Python and C are also relevant.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid schedule with three days per week on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
