Lead Data Transformation | Principal Investment Data Consultant
(Dublin & Hybrid – Up to €850/Day)
- Spearhead the enterprise rollout and adoption of a state-of-the-art investment data architecture.
- Collaborate on-site 3 days per week with 2 days remote flexibility.
- Initial 6-month assignment offering up to €850 / day.
An industry-leading global asset manager is expanding its Dublin operations and seeking a Principal Investment Data Consultant to drive a high-priority data platform transformation.
Positioned right at the nexus of front-office operations, software engineering, and core business strategy, you will serve as the primary subject matter authority for enterprise data flows.
Working alongside world-class technical talent and global vendor partners, you will play a hands-on role in converting complex buy-side requirements into a scalable, high-performance data engine.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- High-Visibility Ownership: Lead critical operational workstreams that directly shape how the firm manages, analyzes, and consumes investment data.
- Optimized Work-Life Balance: Enjoy structured hybrid working (3 days in Dublin office / 2 days remote) tailored for effective cross-team collaboration.
- Broad Enterprise Influence: Serve as the strategic liaison connecting senior business leaders, technical dev squads, and external data suppliers.
- Complex Problem Solving: Exercise full autonomy in tackling intricate multi-asset data challenges across front-to-back operational workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Champion Data Platform Rollout: Direct the hands-on implementation and business-wide adoption of a modern, cloud-era investment data platform.
- Execute Strategic Data Projects: Support and deliver critical data management initiatives by partnering closely with business, engineering, and vendor teams.
- Deliver Subject Matter Leadership: Provide expert domain knowledge across a wide spectrum of buy-side use cases, dataset validations, and pipeline integrations.
- Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Independently manage cross-functional partner relationships, perform deep-dive SQL data analysis, and iron out operational bottlenecks.
What You Need to Have:
- Direct experience with an Asset Manager or buy-side service vendor in an investment data, business analysis, or middle-office operations capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Investment Book of Record and Accounting Book of Record systems, including downstream data consumption.
- Strong proficiency in querying and manipulating complex multi-asset market datasets using SQL.
- Tech & Vendor Collaboration: Demonstrated track record working alongside software developers and third-party data/software vendors to deliver business solutions.
