Principal MLOps Engineer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Principal MLOps Engineer to define the strategy, architecture, and standards for enterprise-scale ML infrastructure and automation. You will set the technical vision for CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, automation frameworks, and lifecycle governance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across the organization. As a Principal-level leader, you will influence long-term MLOps adoption, mentor teams, and drive innovation in how machine learning systems are developed, deployed, and maintained at scale.

What You'll Do:

- Define and lead the enterprise-wide MLOps strategy, architecture, and governance framework.

- Architect large-scale CI/CD pipelines, automation systems, and model monitoring solutions.

- Establish organizational standards for ML infrastructure, reproducibility, and lifecycle management.

- Partner with executives, product leaders, and engineering teams to align MLOps initiatives with business goals.

- Mentor, guide, and influence engineering teams across multiple MLOps projects.

- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge MLOps platforms, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation.

- Ensure enterprise MLOps systems meet the highest standards for scalability, security, and compliance.

- Shape the long-term technical roadmap for ML infrastructure and operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

- 10+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or ML infrastructure engineering.

- Strong background in software architecture design.

- Strong understanding of system security.

- In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, automation, and distributed systems.

- Proven experience in designing and scaling enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and ML lifecycle systems.

- Skilled in cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.

- Ability to evaluate and select MLOps architectures/technologies, with a clear understanding of trade-offs.

- Advanced level of English.
