Role Description The Salesforce CPQ Data Migration Specialist is a full-time remote role focused on planning and executing data migration activities into Salesforce CPQ. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing existing data sources, designing data mapping and transformation rules, and performing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move data accurately and efficiently. The specialist will validate data quality, perform reconciliation and error resolution, and collaborate with Salesforce administrators, CPQ consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure that product, pricing, and configuration data aligns with business requirements. The role also involves documenting migration procedures, creating data models, optimizing migration scripts, and supporting testing and user acceptance activities to ensure a stable and reliable CPQ environment.
Qualifications

• Strong data migration experience, including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and end-to-end data transfer between systems.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and designing scalable structures for products, pricing, and configurations within Salesforce and CPQ.
• Demonstrated ability in Data Quality management, including validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for troubleshooting data issues, interpreting complex datasets, and improving migration processes.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, preferably Salesforce CPQ, including familiarity with objects, fields, and configuration rules.
• Competence with data tools and technologies (e.g., data loaders, APIs, SQL, Excel) used for migration and analysis.
• Strong documentation and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in large-scale system implementations or integrations is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fully remote team setting.
