Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for a Principal Network DevOps Engineer to join the Global Network Engineering team. Come join us in our journey to provide our customers with a world class SAAS platform, enabling imaginative and industry changing Autodesk products.
We are looking for passionate engineers who are fascinated by cloud networking, automation, and AI-driven operations. In this role you will lead the transformation of traditional network operational processes into intelligent, AI-driven, autonomous, and self-improving platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong networking and cloud fundamentals with deep software engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, enterprise integration, and hands-on experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI systems that drive measurable operational outcomes.
You will design, develop, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered solutions that use Large Language Models (LLMs), enterprise knowledge systems, intelligent workflow orchestration, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize network operations and engineering productivity. You will partner closely with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Cloud, Platform, Operations, and Business teams to build scalable, secure, resilient platforms and to drive enterprise adoption of Agentic AI capabilities.
The team is crucial to the design & deployment of a consistent, stable infrastructure that both meets network engineering design standards and product goals. You will participate in cross-team and organizational projects, designing, documenting, and implementing new, secure, and automated networking and AI-enabled operational solutions.
