10/06/20262000 16th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of AmericaRole Summary
You will lead product strategy and execution for DaVita’s Corporate Systems and Atlas Digital Transformation platforms—partnering closely with business and enterprise function leaders across the Village to identify the right problems to solve, run rigorous discovery and research, and deliver simple, high-impact digital solutions that streamline operations and elevate the teammate experience.
This role is equal parts product discovery leader, strategic advisor, and outcomes owner, operating with a human-centered mindset, strong business architecture acumen, and cross-functional leadership across complex enterprise platforms.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
Own the Product Direction and Outcomes
- Set a clear product vision and strategy for Corporate Systems within the Atlas ecosystem, aligned to business Multi-Year Objectives (MYOs) and measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Build and maintain a transparent roadmap connecting enterprise business lane goals to prioritized product work (what we will do—and what we won’t do).
- Define success metrics, establish measurement plans, and leverage data and continuous user feedback to calibrate priorities over time.
Lead Discovery the "Right Way" (Research, Design, Problem Framing)
- Partner with UX/Design, engineering, and corporate business stakeholders to deeply understand user workflows, operational pain points, and systemic root causes (moving beyond reactive feature requests to true problem discovery).
- Run discovery activities including end-user shadowing, workflow observation, journey mapping, hypothesis testing, and rapid validation experiments.
- Facilitate structured working sessions and design workshops that produce clear decisions, trade-offs, and actionable delivery plans.
Be an Objective Strategic Partner Across Corporate Functions
- Build strong, trusted relationships across corporate business leadership and adjacent partners (including IT/Engineering, Architecture, Finance, People Services, Legal, Compliance, and Change Management).
- Bring an "outside-in" perspective—industry best practices, modern product thinking, and user empathy—to help leaders solve the most impactful strategic problems, not just the loudest ones.
- Create clarity in ambiguous spaces: align stakeholders on the "why," define what good looks like, and drive consensus and decision-making forward.
Drive Delivery Through Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with engineering, solutions architecture, integration teams, and external technology vendors to translate validated problems into clear product requirements, user stories, sequencing, and delivery roadmaps.
- Own backlog prioritization and trade-offs, keeping delivery squads focused on measurable business outcomes rather than output volume.
- Lead end-to-end launch readiness: change enablement, operational job aids/training, rollout communications, feedback loops, and post-launch adoption measurement.
Governance, Investment, and Operational Rigor
- Manage product operating rhythms: quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, portfolio progress reporting, and executive steering updates.
- Lead investment and value conversations for your product area, including business case development, benefit sizing, capacity alignment, and trade-off analysis.
What Success Looks Like (Simple, Measurable)
- Strategic Partnership: Business lane leaders consistently say: "This team helps us solve the right problems and gets us to measurable business outcomes faster."
- Operational Impact: Corporate system and platform enhancements measurably reduce friction, streamline critical workflows, and improve the teammate experience (tracked via agreed OKRs/KPIs).
- Clarity & Transparency: The Atlas product roadmap is focused, prioritized, and transparent—teams and executive leaders can clearly articulate what is being delivered and why, in plain language.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Required
- 8+ years of experience in product management (or closely related product leadership), including substantial experience leading product discovery and delivering meaningful enterprise product outcomes.
- Strong track record of partnering with cross-functional business leaders and technical teams to translate complex business problems into high-impact digital solutions.
- Demonstrated strength in problem framing, prioritization, stakeholder management, executive influence, and clear communication.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating structured working sessions, journey mapping, and workshops that yield actionable decisions.
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise packaged applications, SaaS platforms, and corporate systems ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, Oracle/ERP platforms, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise tools).
- Experience leading product strategy and modernization within large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating in complex, highly regulated environments where data privacy, risk management, and compliance governance matter.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
