KinderCare’s Growth Delivery & Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end management and success of new centers, acquired centers, and centers going through a significant reopening process across childcare brands including KinderCare, KinderCare at Work, and Crème de la Crème.

As the Principal Project Manager, Growth Delivery you’ll support a portfolio of projects, including risk assessment, initial scoping and kick off, and center readiness for the fleet. You will work cross functionally to ensure business partners are able to deliver on expectations around experience, timeline, and budget and partner closely with your Growth Operations Manager to establish center-specific success plans focused on hiring, licensing, building readiness, center environment, and staff training.

Responsibilities:

  • Build legally bound timelines to achieve successful acquisition transactions
  • Act as the face of KinderCare's business partners to sellers outside of the organization
  • Organize site reviews, site review tools, operational and HR deep dives, and site review reporting
  • Conduct prioritization exercises to ensure agreement on capital budget and scopes of work required to integrate centers
  • Ensure communication across business partners, capturing risks and mitigation strategies for project execution
  • Ensure a positive experience for staff and families throughout the center welcome, opening, and integration processes by coordinating announcements, communications, resources, events, and logistics for newly acquired centers
  • Partner with licensing and HR business partners to ensure timely completion of licensing and hiring requirements while collaborating with the Growth Operations Manager to develop customized Center Success plans

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 8 years of project management experience
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to create clear visuals that effectively communicate timelines and goals
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with business partners through a highly collaborative approach, strong listening skills, and the ability to understand, influence, and prioritize competing needs
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and flexible approach to change
  • Ability to proactively plan work with a focus on user experience and outcome
  • Excellent judgment and ability to think critically; strong decision-making skills, including risk evaluation, outcomes assessment, and solutions determination in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of time to sites located in and out of state
