Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Principal Salesforce Analyst.

About the Position:

The Principal Salesforce Analyst serves as the primary technical expert and architect for CPR’s fundraising systems (Salesforce, Springboard, Pardot), while supervising three staff members who work with each platform. You’ll provide direction, set priorities, support professional development, and help ensure the team has the resources and guidance needed to effectively manage and enhance these platforms. You’ll administer and continuously enhance Salesforce and its integrations, maintaining data integrity, streamlining workflows, and developing scalable automations that improve the user experience and operational efficiency. You’ll translate business needs into system solutions, manage the fundraising systems roadmap, and help establish policies, processes, and practices that strengthen how we use fundraising data. You’ll also use data and performance reporting to generate insights, guide improvements, and support strategic decision-making while serving as a technical resource and mentor to colleagues.

The new hire is expected to reside in the greater Denver metro area upon starting - this is not a remote position. However, a hybrid schedule is available that requires a minimum of 3 days in the office each week (Tues - Thurs).

About You:

You’re naturally curious and enjoy digging into the “why” behind a problem, anticipating how organizational changes may affect our systems, and finding thoughtful solutions. You’re a strong listener who can translate the needs of non-technical colleagues into effective solutions while making people feel supported along the way. You bring a high level of attention to detail, particularly when it comes to data integrity, system configuration, and security. You’re a thoughtful, collaborative leader who builds trust, sets clear expectations, coaches and mentors others, and helps team members grow while holding them accountable for their work. You’re diplomatic and adaptable, able to navigate competing priorities, guide others through change, and stay calm when technical challenges or shifting priorities arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in administering, developing, or architecting Salesforce, with progressively increasing responsiblity. This must include advanced expertise in Salesforce configuration, automation, and system architecture.

  • At least 1 year of experience providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to colleagues with varying levels of CRM expertise.

  • Experience designing, implementing, maintaining and improving integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems, including payment processing or e-commerce platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience translating business needs into scalable CRM solutions, workflows, automations, and process improvements, as well as developing and maintaining CRM technical roadmaps, policies, procedures, and governance practices.

  • Experience maintaining data integrity, security, and system performance in a complex CRM environment.

  • Experience using Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data analysis to generate insights and inform operational decisions.

Education Equivalency:

  • A fully relatable bachelor’s or master’s degree may replace some (not all) of the required years of experience needed to qualify for the position, but is not required for the role.

Even if you don’t meet every qualification listed, we’re interested in candidates who can bring unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to the role. At Colorado Public Radio, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, equitable and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't perfectly align with every qualification in the job posting, we encourage you to apply as you may be the right candidate for this or other roles with us.

Benefits:

Colorado Public Radio is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package that reflects our culture of caring. Our employees have access to: 100 percent employer paid individual health, life, and disability coverage; an outstanding paid family medical leave policy plus paid holidays and a very generous sick, vacation, and personal time off plan; voluntary offerings such as vision and dental; a competitive retirement plan match with no waiting or vesting periods; flexible schedules; engagement and development opportunities; and a casual atmosphere.
