Enviar solicitud Principal Software Engineer (AI Systems / Healthcare / Python) 📍 Remote – Spain 🕘 Full-time 💰 €90k – €180k gross/year B2+ English requiered About the role We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help build next-generation AI systems within the healthcare space. This role focuses on designing and deploying highly scalable, production-grade systems related to patient communication, triage workflows, AI agent orchestration, and secure healthcare data platforms. You will join a highly technical environment focused on solving complex real-world problems through AI, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices. This is not a traditional enterprise engineering role — we are looking for builders who thrive in ambiguity, ownership, and high-impact environments. What you’ll do Design and deploy AI-powered healthcare systems at scale Build backend services and distributed systems using Python and modern architectures Work on patient communication and triage workflows Contribute to AI agent orchestration and automation layers Build secure healthcare data systems with reliability and compliance in mind Work on low-latency voice/video and real-time interaction systems Integrate with enterprise and healthcare platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous requirements into scalable solutions Help define engineering standards, architecture, and technical direction What we’re looking for +5 years building complex, production-grade systems Strong backend engineering experience with: Python distributed systems scalable architectures Experience working on: AI-driven communication systems triage or workflow automation AI agent orchestration secure data platforms Ability to translate ambiguous problems into practical engineering solutions Strong ownership mindset and product thinking Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments Nice to have Experience with: low-latency voice/video systems healthcare or regulated environments Rust, Go, or TypeScript enterprise integrations Experience building AI-native or agentic systems in production Work model Full remote from Spain Full-time position 💡 Note We are looking for exceptional engineers capable of building real-world AI systems end-to-end.
