Principal Technical Product Manager - Next-Gen Intelligent Robotics Platform
- Location: Remote (EU / CET +/- 3)
- Compensation: Up to €£150,000 + Equity
- Funding: Tier 1 VC investors from Europe
About the Opportunity
We have partnered one of Europe’s most promising deep-tech robotics hyperscalers to find a Principal Technical Product Manager.
Backed by top-tier venture capital following a massive funding round, our client is experiencing explosive growth—doubling their team size in just the last 6 months. They are pioneering software and simulation pipelines that allow robotic systems to see, move, and operate autonomously across complex manufacturing environments, attracting world-class engineering talent from the likes of Amazon, Dyson, Uber, and Harvard.
The Role
As Principal Technical Product Manager, you will take complete ownership of the core Platform—the underlying robot software and simulation engine. This is not a backlog-administration role; you will serve as the technical authority who bridges customer floor realities, executive vision, and high-caliber engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Platform Roadmap: Lead discovery and prioritisation, converting customer needs and strategic vision into clearly scoped, high-impact product initiatives.
- Drive Delivery & Execution: Partner closely with engineering leads through cycle planning and milestones, managing crucial trade-offs (e.g., perception accuracy vs. cycle time, simulation fidelity vs. speed).
- Technical Counterpart: Engage in rigorous, evidence-based architectural discussions with senior engineers, balancing long-term technical elegance with rapid value delivery.
- Customer Representation: Work alongside deployment teams to ensure platform capabilities perform seamlessly on real-world factory floors.
What You’ll Need
- Robotics Engineering Foundation: Hands-on experience building and shipping robot software (perception, motion planning, manipulation, or simulation) as an engineer or technical lead.
- Product Leadership: Proven track record owning complex technical product domains with engineering teams (10+ engineers) from problem definition to launch.
- Technical Rigor: Ability to write clear, resilient specifications and hold constructive, evidence-based debates with senior technical leads.
- Simulation Frameworks (Desirable): Experience with simulation tooling such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Isaac Lab, PhysX, MuJoCo, or Gazebo.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background. Due to the high volume of applications, we are only able to respond directly to successful candidates.
