What you'll do

• Own the technical side of every DACH opportunity, from first discovery to signed contract, as the regional presales lead.
• Lead discovery with operations, asset management, IT and procurement teams, and map their workflows and technical landscape.
• Design solutions and build tailored demos and proofs of concept that show measurable business value.
• Lead the technical response to RFPs and RFIs, working with our tender team, solution experts and product management.
• Present to C-level and operational stakeholders, in German and English.
• Position our AI, scheduling and optimisation capabilities against SAP, Salesforce, IFS and other platforms.
• Work with systems integrators and partners on joint pursuits.
• Feed customer insight back to product management.

What you'll need

• 8+ years as a Solution Engineer, Presales Consultant or Solution Architect at a B2B enterprise software vendor.
• Fluent German (native or C1+) and excellent English.
• A track record of shaping and winning large, complex deals, including RFPs/RFIs and multi-stakeholder PoCs.
• Credibility with C-level stakeholders and strong presentation skills.
• Hands-on technical depth: enterprise architecture, integrations (ERP, GIS, IoT) and SaaS.
• The autonomy to run presales for a region alongside one sales lead.
• A degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Field Service Management, EAM or APM experience, especially scheduling and optimisation.
• Experience with German or Austrian utilities (Stadtwerke, network operators, water), telco or transport.
• Experience with AI in service operations.
• A CEE language.
