At Surfshark, you'll work with a suite of cybersecurity products, reaching a global audience. Ready to make a difference in the cybersecurity world? Apply now to join the Surfshark team!

If you want to:

  • Shape and strengthen Surfshark's privacy compliance program, along with the internal and external policies, procedures, and processes behind it;

  • Advise on practical privacy and legal questions for new products and features, supporting their development from the start;

  • Give business teams day-to-day data protection advice on both routine and emerging issues across relevant jurisdictions;

  • Keep an eye on privacy and data protection legal developments, so our products and services stay compliant;

  • Run Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and international data transfer assessments, and pitch in on other privacy reviews and internal audits;

  • Draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and related privacy documentation for vendors and partners;

  • Support the customer support team on legal matters and untangle complex privacy inquiries, including sensitive data subject requests that call for real legal judgment;

  • Help prepare and deliver privacy training, both company-wide and for specific teams;

  • Stay on top of privacy news and market trends, bring practical ideas to the table, and work closely with colleagues across the company.

And you can check off:

  • A Master's degree in Law;

  • Solid hands-on experience in data protection, as in-house counsel or in a law firm;

  • A good grasp of the IT environment and tech ecosystem, with real curiosity about emerging technologies, AI, and cybersecurity;

  • Full working proficiency in English and Lithuanian.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience in IP/IT law or the tech industry, in-house or at a law firm;

  • Bring international experience to the mix.

Here’s the deal:

  • Growth and learning opportunities: time dedicated to learning, conferences, online learning platforms, and books for your professional development;

  • Health and wellness: we want you to feel and be your best. That's why we offer various benefits, from online workouts and a physical coach to health insurance and regular mental health checks;

  • Tools of your choice: choose the technical equipment and tools you need to do your best work;

  • Community and celebrations: get ready for long-lasting traditions such as yearly workation, Friday get-togethers, various team buildings and company celebrations;

  • Work-life balance: We encourage working in the office, with the possibility of up to two remote days per week. Plus, with our WFA policy, you can work from almost anywhere in the world;

  • More days off: additional vacation days depending on your tenure;

  • Premium Surfshark accounts: for you, your family, and friends;

  • Gross salary: 4300-6200 Eur/month. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
