Private Equity NAV Accountant| Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Private Equity NAV Accountant with a

strong background in private equity, asset management, and Net Asset Value (NAV) accounting.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in NAV accounting for private equity or

asset management funds and be comfortable handling complex accounting processes

independently.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for private equity funds.

• Perform fund accounting and ensure accurate accounting records.

• Handle accounting activities related to private equity and asset management funds.

• Perform reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Support financial reporting and periodic fund reporting.

• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of NAV-related activities.

• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.

• Maintain accurate documentation and supporting records.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

• Take ownership of assigned accounting activities and ensure timely delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, NAV Accounting, Private Equity

Accounting, or Asset Management Accounting.

• Hands-on experience in NAV accounting is essential.

• Experience working with Private Equity or Asset Management funds.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle complex accounting processes independently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate work.

• Strong ownership and accountability.

Good to Have

• Experience working with private equity funds.

• Experience with fund accounting systems and accounting software.

• Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.

• Professional accounting qualifications or certifications.
