Join Access TeleCare as our Manager, Privileging and help bring life-saving specialty care to hospitals across the country. In this fully remote role, you'll lead a team responsible for securing and maintaining hospital privileges for our Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. You'll work alongside our operations teams, providers, and hospital Medical Staff Offices to keep every provider privileged accurately and on time, so that when a patient needs a neurologist, psychiatrist, or critical care specialist, our clinicians are ready. You'll set priorities, coach and develop your team, sharpen our processes, and help shape how we scale as we continue to grow. What You'll Work Deliver high quality service to operations team and ensure providers are being privileged appropriately and timely Manage department priorities to address business and operational goals and challenges. Report team statuses and team metrics to upper management Ensure all required privileges are maintained 100% of the time Research and investigate complex provider privileging issues Create relationships with internal and external stakeholders Oversee Credentialing Agreements including, initial discussions, initiating agreements and maintain executed agreements Measure and improve privileging processes to minimize turnaround times. Distribute assignments and monitor workload Develop policies and guidelines and ensure consistent department-wide implementation. Participate in various education/training as required Comply with HIPPA and Corporate Compliance program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies Consistently maintain privacy and confidentiality Provides direct supervision of staff, including assignment of work tasks, coaching and general performance management Coaches, develops and mentors direct reports with an emphasis on building career paths for professional growth Administers progressive discipline, including corrective action, when necessary, to ensure high levels of job performance and compliance with company policy Conducts formal performance appraisals for all direct reports and develops action plans for continued development and performance improvement Manages payroll activities for direct reports to include timekeeping, approval for time off requests, and other administrative functions Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in physician credentialing or licensing Management experience preferred Working knowledge of credentialing accreditation regulations, policies, procedures and Joint Commission Standards CPCS or CPCSM preferred Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide exemplary customer service via verbal and written means with internal customers, hospitals, and vendors in a diverse and distributed team environment Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office programs, communication, and collaboration tools in various operating systems Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, follow through and focus on details Understanding of medical terminology Ability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Ability to thrive in High growth fast paced organization and 100% Remote based environment Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
