Description Join the Environmental Design Group Team – Where People and Purpose Meet Department: Right of Way Employment Type: PRN/As-Needed Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid Position Overview Are you a Landscape Architect, Professional Engineer, Civil Engineer, CADD Designer, or Construction Inspector looking for a flexible way to work? We’re hiring talented professionals on an as-needed basis! This opportunity gives you the freedom to accept projects that fit your schedule while contributing to exciting and impactful work. Requirements Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience: 5 years experience preferred. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. What You’ll Do Conduct title research to verify property ownership. Negotiate right-of-way acquisitions with landowners in compliance with ODOT and federal requirements. Manage closings and ensure all acquisition documents are accurate and complete. Use acquisition tools and processes required to clear projects. Communicate with property owners, stakeholders, and project teams to maintain schedules. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support project delivery. Leverage technology to improve efficiency and workflow. Maintain organized project documentation. Perform field activities as required. Follow company quality and safety protocols. Apply analytical problem-solving to acquisition and project challenges. Physical and Travel Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods. Local travel during business hours may be required. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required in accordance with company insurance standards.
