We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Attorney with experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation to join our team in Walnut Creek, California . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California probate law, trust administration, and estate disputes, with a proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. Duties/Responsibilities: Handle a diverse caseload of probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related issues. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Represent clients in court appearances, mediation, and settlement negotiations. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments. Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant California laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective case management. Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and other professional development activities. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Minimum of 1 year of experience in trust and estate disputes in California. Strong knowledge of California probate law, trust administration, and estate planning. Strong legal writing and analytical skills, paired with a strategic, detail-oriented approach to litigation. Ability to meet an annual goal of 1,800 quality billable hours . Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary $130,000 - $230,000 Plus, a yearly bonus based on firm/employee performance.
