The Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Control Manager to lead process-control strategy, industrial automation, instrumentation, control-system optimization, advanced process control, process monitoring, control-loop performance, alarm management, process analytics, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain robust process-control systems that improve process stability, product quality, asset performance, operational efficiency, safety, energy efficiency, and production reliability.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have experience in Process Control, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, Advanced Process Control, Process Engineering, or related fields.
The candidate should demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading process-control, automation, instrumentation, or control-engineering functions in industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, chemical, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, or other process-intensive environments.
- Strong understanding of process-control theory, PID control, instrumentation, control-loop tuning, process dynamics, and industrial automation.
- Extensive experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, industrial networks, historians, and control-system architectures.
- Strong knowledge of control-loop performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience with Advanced Process Control, Model Predictive Control, multivariable control, feedforward control, or related technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of alarm management, alarm rationalization, interlocks, permissives, control narratives, and cause-and-effect systems.
- Experience supporting process-safety systems and safety instrumented functions where applicable.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical, and other process measurements.
- Experience with process optimization, process stability, variability reduction, throughput improvement, yield improvement, and energy optimization.
- Experience with process historians, real-time data analytics, statistical process control, and process-performance monitoring.
- Experience managing control-system lifecycle, obsolescence, migration, modernization, backup, configuration management, and disaster recovery.
- Strong experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, production ramp-up, and control-system acceptance.
- Experience managing automation vendors, system integrators, instrumentation suppliers, and technical contractors.
- Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity, industrial-network architecture, access management, and control-system security requirements.
- Experience with Industrial IoT, digital twins, machine learning, AI-based process optimization, edge computing, or connected control systems is advantageous.
- Experience developing control standards, technical specifications, engineering documentation, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, statistical, troubleshooting, project-management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading process-control engineers, automation engineers, instrumentation engineers, and technical specialists.
- Strong understanding of process safety, operational risk, quality, reliability, and business continuity.
- Knowledge of UAE and GCC industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, infrastructure, and regulatory environments is advantageous.
- Relevant degree in Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in automation, control engineering, process safety, project management, Lean Six Sigma, or related disciplines are advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
