We are looking for a Process Controller, Fixed Assets & Leases to join our team in UPM Business Hub Poland in Wrocław.

What you will do
Ensure quality and compliance with UPM internal controls, business rules, policies and legal requirements in accounting and reporting
Provide expertise in complex accounting, compliance and reporting matters to stakeholders and service providers
Oversee the outsourcing partner’s performance in the Fixed Assets & Leases processes, ensuring reporting quality and operational efficiency
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of end-to-end Fixed Assets & Leases processes, reporting services, and tools.
Actively participating and providing expertise and support on audit subject matter topics
Contribute to projects and process development initiatives to enhance quality and effectiveness, ensure implementation and adoption of projects into processes

Who you are
You are a subject matter expert in Fixed Assets & Leases with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements
You have hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in Fixed Assets & Leases processes
You have strong analytical and reporting skills, including advanced use of Power BI and Microsoft Excel
You have well-developed process management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset
You are able to lead or support change initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements
You are capable of making independent decisions in line with UPM policies, guidelines, and business objectives
You are fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage
You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Additional information
This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław.
This is a fixed term position.
The position holder will report to Manager, Finance & Control.
