Process Engineer

Location: Greater Düsseldorf Area (Hybrid - approx. 3 days on-site / 2 remote)

Contract: 12 months (German contract)

Start Date: Mid-November (earliest realistic start)

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a Flue Gas Treatment project.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and validating functional descriptions
• Supporting and participating in HAZOP studies
• Process engineering activities related to wet and dry flue gas treatment systems
• Supporting detailed engineering and functional planning activities
• Working closely with the existing Lead Engineer to deliver project objectives

Requirements

• Strong Process Engineering background within industrial process plants, power generation, waste-to-energy, environmental technologies, or similar sectors
• Proven experience in detailed engineering and functional design/planning
• Previous involvement in HAZOP studies
• Experience with flue gas treatment systems (wet and/or dry technologies)
• Fluent German, including strong reading and document-review capability
• Able to work effectively within a hybrid project environment
