Description

This role sits within the warehouse and logistics function of a pharmaceutical commercialisation site, improving process performance and internal value streams. It’s a hybrid role (onsite at least 3 days per week) for an analytical, independent engineer who drives change and owns project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex warehouse and logistics problems using qualitative and quantitative data.
• Model, monitor and predict process performance using advanced analytical tools.
• Anticipate and prevent potential process issues based on data analysis.
• Optimise internal value streams and create new methods, processes and procedures.
• Manage multiple assignments and projects at once, using fit-for-purpose project management techniques.
• Develop robust, practical solutions independently, in line with functional objectives.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing and subject matter experts.
• Provide training, coaching and guidance to colleagues.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable engineering or science field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or performance improvement within an operational department.
• 2+ years of experience in a highly regulated environment (e.g. pharma, chemicals or food).
• Experience optimising internal value streams.
• Proven analytical skills (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Strong data skills, with expert use of multiple analytical tools.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Preferred Requirements

• Dutch language skills.
• Good understanding of GDP and GMP.
• Proven project management skills.
• A curious mindset, with a drive for results and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
