Are you looking for an awesome place to work, where you can proudly be your authentic self, and be part of #oneteam?

We are looking for a passionate team player who aligns with our values and culture, takes pride in their unique contributions, and can challenge the status quo with disruptive thinking. If this sounds like you, come and join us!

The Opportunity

At Vocus, we're seeking two experienced Process Excellence Black Belts to join our Transformation Office – Process Centre of Excellence. These are hands-on delivery roles focused on turning process intelligence into measurable customer, operational and commercial outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Process Excellence, you'll work across customer, commercial, service and network operations to identify high-value improvement opportunities, build evidence-based business cases, and lead initiatives through implementation and benefit realisation.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Lead a tightly prioritised portfolio of enterprise-scale telecom reengineering initiatives from executive charter through verified benefits and control handover.
  • Use process mining, conformance, variant, bottleneck and root-cause analysis to isolate the few problems with the strongest evidence, value and delivery readiness.
  • Read and navigate the enterprise process architecture, tracing issues and changes across value streams, Level 2 process groups, Level 3 processes and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Create current-state and future-state process models to BPMN 2.0 and Vocus modelling conventions, under the Business Process Architect’s standards, review and approval.
  • Translate process-intelligence findings into clear current-state evidence, targeted future-state designs, quantified benefits, delivery options and executive decisions.
  • Set hard scope boundaries, hypotheses and success measures; stop or redirect work when evidence or value does not justify further effort.
  • Partner with executives and senior operational leaders to resolve cross-functional trade-offs and mobilise accountable delivery teams.
  • Design and implement agreed process and focused operating-model changes, while preserving architecture traceability, naming, ownership and repository controls.
  • Establish controls and process-intelligence monitoring that demonstrate realised value and sustained performance.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognised institution.
  • 7+ years of hands-on process improvement, operational excellence and transformation experience.
  • Strong telecommunications industry experience, ideally within complex B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated experience redesigning and implementing end-to-end business processes.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional transformation initiatives through execution and benefits realisation.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and operational leaders.

Technical & Professional Capability

  • Advanced BPMN 2.0 process modelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of process architecture, process ownership and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience working within formal architecture, modelling, governance and repository standards.
  • Practical knowledge of telecommunications customer, commercial, service delivery, service assurance, billing, network and OSS/BSS processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience leveraging process intelligence and process mining insights.
  • Expertise in root-cause analysis, future-state design, benefit measurement and operational controls.

Personal Attributes

  • Commercially minded and outcome-focused.
  • Confident challenging the status quo and influencing change.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and complexity.
  • Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Driven to deliver measurable business outcomes, not just recommendations.
