Process Improvement Specialist
The primary responsibility of the Process Improvement Specialist is to help identify and correct inefficiencies in work processes ensuring completeness and timeliness to meet established standards. by utilizing coding techniques to create and support software applications. This entry level position supports the Case Processing Operation Center (CPOC) within our Defense and Intel Operating Group.
Key Role/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations and department leaders to improve and optimize work systems
- Analyze relevant data, case items and function processes to determine process improvements or alternate workflows
- Create tools and methods to resolve issues with case items or functions; improve quality and accuracy
- Perform audits and testing of internal systems
- Database management
- Report results to appropriate department and/or customer leadership teams
- Monitor and ensure compliance with customer performance standards and defined metrics
- Maintain attention to detail
- Other assignments/projects as needed to support department, contract, or business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Coding within Visual Basic within Microsoft Access/Excel experience
- Interpret and analyze data
- US Citizenship, due to nature of work performed and contract requirement
- Must pass a government background investigation
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Database management, Python and C++ , or other HTML, and PIPS macros
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Must be able to work flexible schedule; ability to adjust to changing workload
- Experience working in the Government services industry is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Work is performed using company furnished laptop or desktop.
- Work will be mostly remote with occasional onsite requirements when directed
