Process Specialist, Procurement Operations

Your Responsibilities Provide governance and support for Vendor Master Data and Material Master processes. Ensure process compliance and governance across Purchasing operations. Participate in local and global projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation of new solutions. Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, recommend solutions, and drive continuous process improvements. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure effective knowledge sharing and business continuity. Facilitate effective communication between the Business, Process Experts, and VELUX Operations India (VOI Procurement). Act as the first point of contact for process-related queries, providing support, guidance, and training to end users and colleagues. Support the management of deviations from standard process flows using Lean principles. Contribute to the development and standardization of purchasing processes and best practices. Our Requirements At least 3 years of experience in Vendor Master Data and/or Material Master processes. Good understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, particularly Purchasing. Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA. Experience with SAP Ariba SLP and SBN. Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets. Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build effective working relationships. Experience influencing stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational and commercial impacts. Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices. Ability to balance business requirements with governance and compliance. Willingness to share knowledge, coach colleagues, and contribute to team development. Confidence to challenge existing processes constructively and recommend improvements. Experience working in an international or matrix organization.
