Interested in shaping how millions of music fans discover, buy and experience the music they love?

Songtradr is the world's largest B2B music technology company, providing end-to-end solutions across music licensing, rights management and direct-to-fan experiences. Through businesses including MassiveMusic and Bandcamp, Songtradr empowers music creators and enables global brands to connect with audiences through the power of music.

Behind this is a global platform operating at significant scale. Our systems process billions of requests every month, powering experiences that connect music creators, fans and brands around the world.

Now we're growing our Product & UX presence in Finland.

Based in Helsinki, you'll be part of Songtradr's global Product & UX organisation, working across teams, markets and products with colleagues around the world. It's an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of global consumer experiences while joining Songtradr at an exciting stage of growth in Finland.

The role

We're looking for a Product Manager to own the consumer experience across Songtradr's direct-to-fan products, with Bandcamp at the heart of the role.

Bandcamp is a marketplace where fans buy music directly from artists and labels. It's built around ownership: when a fan buys music, they own it. They can download it, play it and keep it in a collection that grows with every purchase.

As a Product Manager, you'll own that consumer journey end to end – from someone's first visit and purchase to the experience that keeps them coming back to discover and support more artists.

Alongside Bandcamp, your scope will include other consumer products across the Songtradr portfolio.

You'll own areas including:

  • Getting started: sign-up, onboarding, fan accounts and profiles

  • Discovery to retention: the conversion funnel and experiences that bring fans back

  • The fan's relationship with their music: collections, playback, wishlists and follows

  • The fan mobile app

  • Notifications and lifecycle communications

  • Fan subscriptions

Payments, search and recommendation quality, and seller-facing tools are owned by neighbouring teams – you'll own the surfaces they show up on.

What you'll do

You'll have end-to-end product ownership across these consumer surfaces, combining customer insight, data and commercial thinking to decide what we build and why.

You'll:

  • Own the feature roadmap across the consumer experience and key commercial moments

  • Lead discovery through user research, interviews and data analysis

  • Improve conversion and retention through A/B testing and experimentation

  • Measure impact through fan feedback, analytics and commercial data, adapting plans based on what you learn

  • Work closely with design and engineering to frame problems, set scope and turn ideas into products that ship

  • Use AI tools across product work, from research and prototyping to documentation and analysis

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of a consumer-facing digital product with real users and commercial outcomes

  • A track record of improving conversion, engagement or retention, with the ability to explain what drove the results

  • Experience with product discovery and experimentation, including user research, data analysis and A/B testing

  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams, with enough technical fluency to frame problems, make pragmatic decisions and work effectively on a large, established platform

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in an international environment

  • Comfort using AI tools as part of your everyday product work

Experience in music, media, marketplaces, mobile apps, lifecycle messaging or subscription products is a plus, but not a requirement.

We don't expect you to tick every box. We're looking for a Product Manager who combines curiosity about users with commercial thinking and enjoys turning insight into products that make a measurable difference.

Why Songtradr, why now

Product is a global function across Songtradr's licensing, consumer and creative businesses. Rather than owning a single product in isolation, our Product Managers own coherent experiences across the portfolio – giving you the opportunity to influence how millions of people interact with music globally.

You'll be based in our Helsinki office in Vallila, working in a flexible hybrid model, while collaborating closely with Product, Design and Engineering colleagues around the world.

What you'll get

Salary: €7000-8000 per month, depending on experience

Equity: RSUs – real upside as the company continues to grow

Flexible hybrid working from our brand-new Helsinki office in Vallila

Growth: 15 hours per month dedicated to learning and professional development

Our values

Lead with Music. Our compass and our passion.

Perform as One Band. United by purpose and trust.

Own Your Voice. Listen deeply, speak honestly.

Ready to apply?

If you're excited about building consumer products, understanding what makes people come back and shaping how fans experience and support the music they love, we'd love to hear from you.

And if you don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We're interested in different combinations of product experience, commercial thinking and perspective.

The application period is open until October 21st, but we'll move forward as soon as we find the right person – so we encourage you to apply early.
