Procurement and Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Procurement Manager to establish and lead a strategic procurement and contract management function for a rapidly growing residential property platform.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for designing and implementing procurement and supplier management processes that support a large-scale residential portfolio.

You'll work closely with operations, finance, asset management and leadership teams to ensure supplier performance, commercial value and service quality remain at the highest level.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement the organisation's procurement strategy
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and tender processes
• Negotiate supplier and contractor agreements
• Establish contract management and governance frameworks
• Create supplier performance metrics and reporting processes
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
• Drive cost efficiencies and value creation initiatives
• Manage procurement risk and supplier compliance
• Develop policies, procedures and procurement controls
• Deliver spend analytics and commercial insights
• Support mobilisation of new contracts and supplier partnerships
• Ensure consistent service delivery across a geographically dispersed portfolio
• What We're Looking For
• Essential
• Significant experience in procurement, commercial management or contract management
• Demonstrable experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience establishing procurement processes, governance frameworks or supplier performance programmes
• Commercially astute with strong analytical and financial capability
• Excellent contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills

Highly Desirable
