We are currently looking for a Procurement Category Lead to join our offices in Granollers.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Procurement Manager Iberia.

JOB PURPOSE

As our Procurement Category Lead, you will take ownership of key product-related categories (ingredients, packaging, trade products and more) and shape sourcing strategies that drive impact on cost, quality, sustainability, and innovation.

You will operate at the heart of the business, working closely with our Iberian plants and building strong partnerships with suppliers at every level - including boardroom conversations.

In short: you will help us buy smarter, better, and more sustainably.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute category sourcing strategies, using market insights to guide decisions.
  • Lead tenders, supplier negotiations and contract management to secure competitive prices and terms.
  • Build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance and manage risks to ensure supply continuity.
  • Drive cost savings, efficiency and sustainability through value engineering and responsible sourcing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Europe to support new product development and align procurement with business needs.
  • Support budgeting and reporting, maintain accurate procurement data and track key performance indicators.
  • Support and lead European procurement projects and transformation initiatives.

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Supply Chain, Finance, Business or similar)
  • ~5-10+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in FMCG and Food industry
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial instinct
  • Confidence to operate and influence at senior level
  • A sharp analytical mindset—you enjoy turning data into decisions
  • Experience working in complex, international environments
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (language proficiency will be assessed)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 6-8 times/year to our locations
